Programme Description

This programme is for the creative minds in the publishing industry, especially those that deals with images and digital photographs. It covers extensively into the different techniques used in the industry in both web development and professional graphic design houses.

 

Programme Objectives

At the end of this course participants should be able to:

  • Identify the Adobe Photoshop environment.
  • Customized the Photoshop environment and use Photoshop Help
  • Create and working with layers
  • Use several selection tools to select images areas, and modify and manipulate selections
  • Switch among Photoshop¡¯s image modes, adjust an image¡¯s hue and saturation, and use the Levels command to adjust image contrast.
  • Repair image defects, paint in an image, erase complex background areas, and apply filers to a layer or selection.
  • Determine an image¡¯s resolution and dimensions, resize images with and without resampling, and use the Crop toll and the Canvas Size command to change an image¡¯s canvas size.
