Community Stewardship

In line with our core value of Social Responsibility, we strive to be socially responsible citizens. We are committed to building a strong volunteerism spirit amongst our staff and students and supports various community projects in the hope of making a lasting contribution and impact in the local communities that we operate in globally.

Our staff and students support donation drives for various worthy causes. We partner with Junior Achievement Singapore, to inspire and prepare youths to succeed in a global economy and contribute to the local communities.  We partner with SG Enable to provide IT skills and bookkeeping training to persons with disabilities at Enabling Village.

To encourage our staff to contribute back to society, each staff has 2 days of CSR leave to volunteer for community work. This helps them develop professional and collaborative skills and is also beneficial to their well-being as a 2017 United Healthcare Study discovered that individuals who regularly volunteer report lower stress levels (79%), improved moods (93%), and improved self-esteem (88%).

We are honoured that our commitment to do good for the community has been recognised by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). Under their national recognition framework designed to catalyse the corporate giving movement and build a City of Good, we were accorded the Company of Good Award at the inaugural award session in 2017 and again  in the 2018 conferment.
