This is an industry-based course. The scope includes applications that are commonly used in the industry, so learners can acquire more industry skills which are popular in the market today. They will have the option of studying exciting new modules that incorporate state-of-the-art technology in their curriculum. It provides learners with the hands-on experience so that they can apply the skills learnt immediately after graduation. Learners will study for their Diploma in IT in the first year of the programme and build a solid foundation for the basics of IT. After which, they will be introduced to a higher level of learning in the Advanced Diploma programme during their second year and be prepared for their degree completion with any of our affiliated universities they choose to pursue with.

Admission Requirements
Minimum 16 years old:
ITE NITEC, COS, NTC Holder OR \
Minimum 3 GCE ¡®O¡¯ Levels or equivalent with English (Must do CT and LS as enrichment modules)
Minimum 3 GCE ¡®O¡¯ Levels or equivalent without English (Must do English Communication, then Critical Thinking and Learning Skills as enrichment modules)
¡®A¡¯ Levels or equivalent conducted with English
¡®A¡¯ Levels or equivalent conducted without English (Must do English Communication)
Mature Entry:
Minimum 21 years old with 4 years of secondary education or equivalent
No exemptions will be granted for prior work experience
Exemptions may be granted for professional certifications attained at the discretion of Informatics Academy
Programme Structure and Duration
The course comprises 8 modules of study conducted on both full-time and part-time basis

Full Time : Minimum of 8 months Part Time: Minimum of 12 months
Programme Delivery:
Day / evening classes taught by lecturers with industry-experience
Method of Assessment:
For theory modules, students are assessed based on coursework / projects / examinations.
For practical modules, students are assessed based on presentation & dissertation / project components.
Students need to pass all components in order to pass the module.
