Programme Objectives

The programme aims to produce graduates who have been exposed to a range of management skills and who have been trained to use these skills in a manner that will enable them to better handle the managerial demands of modern business practices.
The objectives of the programme are to produce graduates who are able to:

Course Modules

This MBA program can be completed in 20 months, covering 12 units with 8 core and 4 specialisation units. A typical semester is about 4 months, covering 2 - 3 units. This structure is highly effective and successful as students are allowed sufficient time to concentrate on their studies.

Admission Requirements

Candidages for entry into the Maser of Business Administration must meet each of the following criteria to the satisfaction of the Director, USQ Australian Graduate of Business:

  • A tertiary qualification at degree or equivalent level from a recognized institution; and
  • A minimum of two years full-time equivalent work experience, as determined by the Director, USQ Australian Graduate School of Business.
  • Candidates who do not have a degree will be permitted to enroll in the Postgraduate Certificate of Management only, provided that they have a minimum of five years full time equivalent work experience, which includes relevant experience, as determined by the Director, USQ Australian Graduate School of Business. Upon completion, they will be eligible to articulate into the Postgraduate Diploma in Management.
  • Other qualifications will be handled and processed on a case by case basis.
