Programme Aims
  • Produce graduates who can apply fundamental principles and techniques to produce creative and innovative solutions.
  • Provide high quality education and training in the education and training in the relevant fields of engineering whilst seeking to produce graduates who can bring a professional approach to developing quality solutions for a range of engineering problems.
  • Equip students to work as professional engineers in the field of engineering, particularly in environments where engineering principles and practices are used extensively in industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing and design, info-comm and Internet industries.

 

Programme Objectives

This well-established programme provides an integrated approach to electrical and electronic engineering, it combines academic rigour, engineering design applications, marketing and business skills to prepare graduates for a range of exciting careers.

Engineering is concerned with creativity and problem-solving. State-of-the-art technology is used to produce practical and innovative solutions to a wide range of engineering problems. The structure of the course allows for final year specialization delivered in Singapore.

Qualifications not listed here are subject to the University¡¯s approval. *All students are also required to meet at least 90% attendance for the orientation workshop which is conducted over 3 weeks period before the commencement of the programme.

Programme Structure and Duration

The course comprises 12 modules of study conducted on both full-time and part-time basis

Intake:

April / August / December

Duration:
Full Time : Minimum of 12 months
Part Time: Minimum of 18 months
Programme Delivery:
  • Day / evening classes taught by lecturers with industry-experience
Method of Assessment:
  • For theory modules, students are assessed based on coursework/projects/ examinations
  • For practical modules, students are assessed based on presentation & dissertation / project components
