Programme Objectives

The course was specially designed several years ago for students who already hold qualification in Computer Science and related subjects. It allows students to join the course in the final year as well as in the second and first years. The B.Sc. (Hons) Computing degree course is one of the Division's flagship courses and illustrates well the flexibility and detail offered by all its study programme. By recognising a student's previous qualifications it is often possible to grant a student exemption from the first two years of the course and to offer a place on the final year thus making it possible to complete study for a degree in a single academic year.
