This course is to introduce the participants to the basics of Microsoft PowerPoint and what can be expected of this presentation software. It will familiarise the user to the PowerPoint interface and basic editing and formatting functions. The participants will also learn on PowerPoint essentials such as using the SlideMaster, Layouts, Design Templates, Colour Schemes and adding graphics.

At the end of this course participants should be able to:
- Identify and open PowerPoint files.
- Use the office assistant and Help.
- Create and navigate in a PowerPoint slide environment, select text, and editing data.
- Applying formating on text.
- Understanding the use of bullets and numbering in presentations.
- Using the proofing tools.
- Drawing Charts to present data effectively.
- Drawing tables and using them efficiently.
- Inserting objects (cliparts) and manipulating for presentation.
- Use of templates to improve presentation estatics and to standardise presentations.
