Programme is validated to specially tailor the MBIT to the meet the unique demand in the Asian markets.
A validated programme is not the same as on-campus degree, so students cannot opt to transfer the programme to the campus.
The programme is validated by the Validation Unit of Wales with assessors from Cardiff, Swansea, Aberyswyth, Newport and external assessor from Univ of Sheffield. The validation process is very stringent and approval is given to deliver the programme only when all academic standards are satisfied and all quality assurance processes are in place.
Twice yearly exam boards are conducted by faculty members from Wales to ensure that standards are maintained. Annual reviews are implemented for continual improvement.
The MBIT is awarded by the University of Wales itself and not by any particular campus. The certifcate will bear the logo of the university.
Students can choose to attend the graduation ceremony at the university, which is normally towards the end of the year.
