Japanese Students Revel At Informatics

58 students from Japanese high school Nakagawa Shogyo Koko, Tokyo, were treated to a brilliant display of myriad multi-cultural performances and greeted by our student councilors dressed in their traditional costumes.

Organised by the Nippon Travel Agency, these students were brought around Malaysia and Singapore, to understand the different cultures. They wrapped up their tour with a night at the Informatics campus.

Our student councilor Charles Wong opened the event with a welcome speech in Japanese. After the presentation of a gift of appreciation, our students from Myanmar, China and Indonesia performed their cultural dances before the Japanese students returned with a Japanese cultural performance.

The evening was an exciting one for all and one with many memorable moments!
