INFORMATICS REINVENTS LEARNING WITH A BUFFET OF LEARNING MODES: FULLY-FLEXI LEARNING

Students can now mix and match their classes from a selection of face-to-face,
e-learning, distance learning or mobile learning modes to suit their lifestyles

Informatics Education has launched its Fully-flexi learning mode, suiting the demanding lifestyles of busy individuals, and hence enhancing their learning journeys.

This mode of learning is comprised of a pick and mix of the existing learning modes of:
• Face-to-face classroom Learning
• e-Learning
• Mobile Learning
• Distance Learning*

All students are also given access to the Informatics Virtual Campus (IVC), a log-in only online portal, for them to easily download lecture notes and presentation slides. Most importantly, students who have missed out on the scheduled classes, can also access recorded lectures which are uploaded onto the IVC, for their convenience anytime.

Courses currently available for Fully-flexi learning mode:
• International Diploma in Business Administration
• International Advanced Diploma in Business Administration
• Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration

e-Learning
Informatics inaugurated e-Learning as part of its offerings nearly a decade ago and has been the strongest e-Learning provider in Asia thus far.
With internet connection, students are able to attend virtual classes under the strictest control of a facilitator and other virtual classmates from all over the globe. E-Learning has transcended all physical barriers of learning.

Mobile Learning
Informatics is the brainchild behind the Mobile Learner program, the first of its kind in the world. The Mobile Learner program allows students to study while on the move, with any device they own that accesses memory cards. Students who are unable to attend classes regularly, and have little or no access to internet connection have found this mode of learning to be most advantageous.

Distance Learning
Learning directly from the awarding universities, via the facilitation of Informatics, students are able to be home-bound while attaining prestigious foreign qualifications. Distance Learning allows students to study at their own pace while having access to tutors at Informatics and full-fledged services to enhance their learning journeys.

The fully-flexi learning mode will most benefit these groups of people:
• Shift workers
• Housemakers
• Military regulars (NS, RSAF, Navy, SPF, Civil Defence)
• Busy PMEBs who work long hours
• Cabin/Flight crew

Mr. Alan Phua, Managing Director of Informatics Education Singapore said, “Busy executives can now build their careers and at the same time, enhance it with quality qualifications via the fully-flexi learning mode. In this time and age, lifelong learning should not be a burden; instead, it should suit an individual’s lifestyle very comfortably.”

* The Distance Learning mode is only available for courses with Distance Learning capabilities
